Falmouth Pt.1

Last year during the summer I was fortunate enough to go to Falmouth, in Cornwall, for a week with some friends. It was a great experience and I'm itching to do it again. I felt an incredible sense of independence, and it was nice for us to organise what to do everyday without any parents breathing down our necks, as well as leaving the chaos of London behind too! It was also the first time I had a proper go at daily vlogging. Though I was rather apprehensive to begin with, I feel like by the end of the week I just got on with it and forgot about what anyone thought of me. I'm so glad that I captured the whole experience on camera, because I can look back and reminisce about the time we shared, despite my questionable vlogging and editing skills.

If you would like to see the vlog from this day, click here. But for now, please enjoy a couple of snaps I took that day.

This is the path we took to get to beach and cliffs featured in the following pictures. For those that know Falmouth it comes after Gyllyngvase and Swanpool beach if you keep going up the road and take a left.
Here are my friends that accompanied me on this trip, along with Abby's sister Amy, who was kind enough to show us around and look after us. We were lucky enough in her uni flat, so thanks Amy & friends - much appreciated!

A view from the rocks, on the beach we explored but don't know the name of. I must say though, I found the hike to this beach rather treacherous and stressful than these pictures show. So check out the vlog to get a full picture of what happened that day. The view was worth it though.

Sexy shot of my legs and the rock I was sitting on. I really like the look of this rock and our resident scientist, Nalini, said this what metamorphic rock. So pretty.

Abby & Amy windswept.

Nalini snapping me looking out into the distance.

Nalini looks as radiant as ever.

Tamsin following Abby into the cliff face, and Nalini looking yonder.

Moi.

Looking back to the beach with no name on the hike back.

I love this photograph.

Another look back.

One last look.

The view from the walk back.

I know this blogpost, and the following Falmouth series is long overdue but I'm glad I finally got to it. Let me know what you thought and if you like posts like this I'd be happy to do more! I'm going away to Berlin, come February, and would love to do a post on it.

Thanks so much for reading,

Much love,

Margaret xXx
